Who Am I?
Hi, my name is Grace Brownstead and I am a second-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill eagerly pursuing a double major in Journalism and Political Science and a minor in Conflict Management. I am a part-time legal assistant at a local criminal defense law firm named Matthew Charles Law. As of right now, I plan on attending law school after I graduate. After graduating from UNC, I plan to attend law school. Since my first mock trial in 5th grade, I have wanted to be the next Elle Woods. I hope to practice law and to one day own my own law firm.
Things I Like To Do For Fun!
If I could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, I would choose Stephen King. His captivating writing and horrifying stories always have me on the edge of my seat, and leave me excited to read his next book. He is my biggest inspiration and has motivated me to keep up with writing. Reading stories and writing my own have always been my favorite two hobbies, and I hope to utilize both in my future job.Horses have always been a big part of my life. I started riding at a very young age and never lost my passion for it. In high school, I competed and even went to Nationals for equitation in 2021. I hope to own my own horses one day and to pass my love for horses onto my kids. Despite my fear of flying, traveling has always fascinated me. I enjoy exploring new cultures, and immersing myself in my surroundings. “I love places that make you realize how tiny you and your problems are” is my favorite quote and I like to live by that. I have a bucket list of the places I want to visit and look forward to checking each off.
